I am alive!





where to begin, i guess since i last blogged alot has happened:::







1, as you can see to the left of this post I crashed the rental car on my second day of work. The breaks went out, and I slammed full speed into the car in front of me. Serves me right for getting a car at Priceless Rental Car in Inglewood, Like being involved in a serious car crash doesn't have its price. Any who, if the car accident wasn't bad enough, it was right in front of my office..so everyone could see me crying on the street. Talk about super super embarrassing.





Speaking of work, its going pretty well, long days but its a really really fun place to work. there is one other girl in my office Emily, she went to school in Rhode Island, shes pretty rad, its always always imperative to like the people you work with..esp. cause she is the only other girl in the office!

Amanda and Heather were here last weekend, it was a fucking blast, we went out in Hollywood on Friday night. Our first stop was The Foundation Room which is at the House of Blues..it was filled of soco and lime on the rocks(gnarly) and vodka soda, which if you know anything about me you know is my drink of choice. I danced my ass off to Britney. We then headed to The Viper Room...it was unreal, Kelly fell as soon as we walked into the bar..like face plant. Scraped her knee all up but somehow we were still allowed in. Within Five minutes of being there Amanda and I were up on the stage with some seedy rock band. It was awesome. Saturday we went to a bar called Underground. It was wicked fun, played quarters with some pirates, and Meaghan enjoyed Vodka Water with 6 Lemons..

Sunday Funday Stared off @ Eat at Joes, which is the best breakfast ever...Amanda stole a mug which is sure to bring us bad karma in the future. Ate double stuffed mint oreo's at the pool at Lukes and then we all got dressed to watch the Celtics in a heart breaking loss. I experienced my first earth quake on Sunday, and then my second on Tuesdays. They are no joke, and being from the East Coast and never EVER experiencing anything like it, it really really threw me for a loop. I was all out of sorts. And THEN on Tuesday when there was another one it was at my office which was even worse because I could literally feel the building shaking...Oh Well, I guess that's the price of living the dream in California.

Things are super crazy out here, and I still am adjusting. But I feel as though I have hit the Jack Pot in every way possible. My only wish is that Katelyn Kristin Stevie the boys and girls from Brighton and my family were all out here..they are reallly the only people I really care about...

well that's all for now, I am going to go watch the last episode of U.S. of Tara, which is an AMAZING show fyi.

So Katelyn Anne Bonenfant is my best friend in the entire world, we became friends freshman year of HS..we didn't get along at first, she thought i was a bitch.. But she got into to a car accident today and it really scared me, I honestly don't know what I would do with out her..she is my rock, the only person that really honestly knows everything about me since the ripe old age of thirteen. she is my partner in crime..the peaches to my cream..

First California Weekend.

SO...

here we are, Saturday, sipping a red bull vod. waiting for Jack to get out of the shower and getting shit together and figured this would be a perfect time to blog.

So yesterday, was a long day of second interviews and stupid work crap, we picked Jack and his puppy King up in Hollywood after work and brought the puppy and the crate back to Redondo, needles to say, Carmen freaked out, and called my father..who lives in Boston? at 7am Boston time and leave him a voice mail telling him something serious has happened. What women in their right mind would call a father at 7am and tell them something serious has happened, when in real life there was just the sweetest puppy in the living room? I then checked my bank account and realized that my checking account was over drafted by 400 dollars..FML

This morning we had to walk back from Nicks, it was miserable, serious hills here, really serious. Then had to take the rental car back to the sketchiest place of all time. it was like Mexico, we left Jack in the back seat with the pup while there was serious Mexican beats pumping at this shack. I felt pretty unsafe. I received a pretty dope rental, i would say a 1982 Corolla that maxes out at 45mph on the 405 is wicked safe. its front windows are tinted..pimp shit. I almost got killed trying to get over to carpool only lane, which is honestly one of the best things this state has to offer, even if you do risk your life and everyone in the cars to get there.

Jacks puppy puked all over the side of the road on PCH (Pacific Coast Highway) then all over the car, then Kelly almost puked..then we got Jack in the Box..which is pretty bomb. We then went down to Hermosa, played beach volleyball and then passed out.

Jack is currently yelling about the water pressure and Kelly is talking about Lesbians (typical) I'm just waiting for the fashion show.

Whats a girl gotta do to get some help posting some pictures on her blog.

Working Girl

So I got a job today, exciting stuff, with a company called Rapid 7. They sell Internet security software, or something like that, I really have no idea. However, the interview process was so hard. The Sales manager is no joke, no beating around the bush with him, he must have dropped the F bomb like seven times in the in interview. I start on Monday, so we shall see how it all pans out.

Kelly let Carmen's cat out today by mistake, or on purpose who knows, but when she was out at her interview (Kelly) the sneaky little cat got out again, when I opened the door to see what it was like out, it darted back inside the house and was running all over all my clothes, if you know me, you know I hate cats.

Speaking of animals, I think I am going to get a puppy. But first I need some extra income. but one thing is for sure, it will be the cutest puppy of all time, I'm just wasting time blogging about nothing until its time to drink beers. I also cant figure out how to get my pictures from my camera onto the computer..I'm so tech savvy..

Once I figure it out ill add some pics so this is a little bit more exciting.

although some people may be skeptical of me documenting my thoughts (Steve) I think its pretty legit, I am about to head out to dinner in some town I have never heard of, and I'm sure it will be de-lish. A New Adventure.

Hello All,
I have been contemplating entering the world of blogging for quite some time, yet never really thought I had anything interesting to say. But as of May 3rd 2009 my life has changed completely and I figured this would be a great way to document the new chapter in my life. For starters, my name is Whitney and I am 23. I am from Boston MA but just recently picked up my life and moved across the country to Redondo Beach CA with nothing but a couple boxes, my blackberry and a fire under my ass to change everything about myself I was not happy with. I live with my best friend Kelly, she can be a real pain in my ass sometimes, but is also the most balls to the wall type person I know, and I guess if I am going to move, it shouldn't have been with someone who had no balls. No one thought I was going to do this, and I presume everyone believes I will fail...but here I am, and at this point there is nothing I can do but enjoy the ride, and the California sunshine.
