forgot to post this on sunday... ooopsey
What a funnnnnnnn weekend
Started off on Friday in San Diego with Addie (my straight up twin…and we are dating like, THE SAME PERSON..believe it) She lives in this rad place right in DT San Diego. After trying to park for like 45 minutes we FINALLY got to her place.. Painted our nails..Whipped our hair.. Applied red lipstick..and drank some vod.
The boys came over (Hickey, Jon, Chris…) jump in the navigator truck and cruised down to gas lamp (not before picking up Isaac and his seeeester)
Picked up Craig and hit the dance floor… hard.. among other things.
The night didn’t end until about 530 AM when Addie and I found ourselves watching gang land in bed before passing out.
Friday night was one of those nights where everyone just has a good time.. I was so so happy to see the boys and they didn’t disappoint, per usual. Addie also makes me laugh 100% of the time and I love her to death.
Saturday Addie and I woke up, looking like hawt messes. Went to see Chris and Craig’s place in PB, their spot is fucking sick. We went to Nick’s to eat lunch (Addie was hating on it pretty hard and was pushing for the Broken Yolk but Craig convinced her Nick’s was the right move )
After lunch, I hoped in the Jeep and hit the open road to come back to the South Bay…things got weird. The ATM machine ate my debit card, I drank about 18 bud heavys, and then found myself at the bar with J who was taking whiskey shots with a bacon chaser. Ga-Ross.
Finallllly we went to bed, I was pretty cranky.
Sunday watched football, drank coffee, played the game of life, and J bought me a pumpkin <3
I meanttt to snap a pic this AM but I was too busy rushing out of his APT. cause I work up late for worky

For Realzzz?
HELLO WORLD :)
I am writing to you as a newly Redish/Brown Brunette, Lord Help Me.. I still better have fun.
I have been (happily) blonde for 24 years, and my, what a great run it was. However, I needed a change, I had been wearing my hair up in a fun bun for like 3 weeks straight, which was not only a waste of my 90 dollar hair cut.. it really wasn’t doing me any justice either. I have been toying with the idea of switching up my game for a while now, but I never had the balls to actually do it… That was, until I met Jerry…
Jerry is my hair dresser at the Londoner hair salon in Manhattan Beach. He gave me a hair cut about 2 months back and while I was in his chair complaining about my dead and tired blonde hair he suggested going dark. While I had always had the idea in the back of my mind I didn’t think I would ever find a hair dresser to encourage me to do it. Let’s be real here for a second.. I am very VERY fair.. and no one needs to see me walking around with dark hair looking all “girl from that Ring movie”. Jerry explained to me that I could do it, and that it would make my eyes look “totally georgous” PLEASE say no more..I am tots in.
So I made the appt last Wednesday and waited anxiously for a week and a one day. I didn’t tell anyone really other than the girls I work with. I showed up with a knot in my stomach, told Jerry what I was looking for and before I knew it I had dye all over my head and looked like a nana sitting under the dryer.
It took about 45 minutes for the dye to set in because my hair had NO color at all and was super dry and gross. After the dye had set, they washed and dried me, put in a shine serum, back under the dryer. Then another wash and dry..
DUN DUN DUN I’m face to face with my hair wrapped in a towel.. When Jerry took the towel off my hair, I started laughing and couldn’t stop for like 5 minutes.
Anyway… I now have dark hair and it’s such a trip, I catch myself twirling it around my fingers and I’m like dayyyyyum who’s healthy hair is this?? But it will for sure take some getting used to…
But SHHHHH I didn’t tell J, it’s a surprise I hope he loves :)

just a snipit
TGIF-
This week has been outrageously stressful. I got a promotion at work that comes with a big title and an even bigger work load. It feels good to be appricated for all the hard work I put in day in and day out.. but its exhausting:)
I just finished the book The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Its a good book, some solid points, but on the same hand ALOT of positive thinking bullshit. Which is not something I put alot of faith in. Dont get my wrong, posibive thinking is important, however thinking positively I dont believe cures all the wrongs with work/friends/family etc.. Anyhow, I do suggest at least reading the book, everyone will take something out of it.
Im headed to Palm Spring for the weekend and Kelly is on her way to pick me up.. I have more to Blog about so I am going to have to put this blogging on hold :)
